Customs Brokerage and Clearance
Our highly qualified experts support our clients clearing customs and ensuring a smooth importation of goods and components. The clearance department at apycsa logistics consists of several custom agents and experts who inspect the goods and pay the related duties and the TVA 16% at the point of entry. During the whole custom process, our colleagues are available day and night for our clients as well as for any government requests. After unloading the goods, our primary goal is to get them through customs as quick as possible and prepare them for further transportation (LINK to International Logistics). On the one hand, we want to avoid any extra fee or demurrage, on the other hand our primary objective is to ensure a functioning supply chain of our clients.
We are the first contact for international companies and suppliers in Mexico.
In contrast to other custom agencies in Mexico, our team distinguishes itself by multilingual experts and years of experience in the Mexican market. Apycsa logistics is run by a Mexican German custom agent (certified by the Mexican government) with a profound understanding of all questions related to national and international customs requirements. Our business culture successfully combines a profound knowledge of the Mexican market and its specialties with the requirement our internationally operating clients have.
If you want to get an idea of how the Mexican system works, please take a look at our recent report on it.
We closely follow any changes in custom law and requirements that might affect our clients. But we also provide expertise on economic development schemes and specific trade agreements by the ministry of economic affairs, e.g. on the IMMEX program (Industria Manufacturera, Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportación) that allows large-scale companies to import machines and components temporarily to produce export goods.
Our broad service portfolio consists of:
- Consulting services for the import of goods and machines
- Legal advice on questions related to Mexican custom law and clearance processes.
- Successful clearance and importation
- Review and validation of certificate of origin
- Cost calculation and optimization
- Use of the latest information and communication technology
- Importation of dangerous goods and special logistic
- Warehousing and storage
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would do our best to answer as soon as possible.
